On the first day, we introduced ourselves and discussed the eight competences of Erasmus+. It was enlightening to see how these competences can empower us in various aspects of our lives and future careers. I appreciated the diverse perspectives from participants from different countries, which sparked some great discussions.
The second day was particularly impactful as we delved into the different types of crimes that affect our communities. Working in country groups, we identified specific issues relevant to each of our contexts and brainstormed prevention strategies. This collaborative effort highlighted the importance of understanding local challenges while also learning from one another’s experiences.
One of the highlights was our campaign to promote the exchange itself. It was fun and creatively challenging to come up with ideas that would resonate with our peers and encourage them to engage with our themes. This hands-on experience truly brought the learning to life.
Overall, this exchange has not only broadened my understanding of crime prevention but also strengthened my connections with young people from across Europe. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share ideas and strategies that can make a real difference in our communities.
Juan
My name is Juanjo, it's my first outside project and to summarise it has been an eye-opening experience. Through various workshops, we explored different types of crimes and strategies to prevent them, gaining practical insights into personal and community safety. Taking our knowledge to the streets with public awareness campaigns allowed us to make a real impact, spreading valuable information to local communities. The project was balanced with enriching cultural exchanges during our intercultural nights, and a free day exploring the city deepened our connection with the culture. Wrapping up with a presentation of our workshop results on the final day reinforced the importance of collaboration and education in fostering a safer society.

This adventure started on a tough path. Since our journey here was long and hard, my spirits were down. As soon as we landed, I just wanted to lay down and not do anything. Fortunately, the fun and the learning began as soon as we reached our campus. Since the first energizer and top10 game, I just felt the urge in me to do my best and complete all tasks given to me as an individual and in any team I was put in. I learned to listen to my teammates, to hear their wishes and discuss their thoughts in a respectful manner. I learned to collect and present the ideas fast without losing quality. I really felt like I was learning to learn. Since the theme of the project was interesting to me, I did much of the research with passion, which I did not lose while drawing a poster or a presentation slide, and that boosted my digital competence skills. In this project, I could combine all the things that I love to do daily - learning, creativity and, of course, having fun. I met so many wonderful people, bright personalities that challenged me and made me fall in love with this project. And, of course, as a cherry on top is the breathtaking nature in Cyprus. Overall, the project was very well organized, it was challenging, since we had to do a lot in a short time but that is also a good experience and teaches to react fast and not overthink about everything. If I had to, I would join the project all over again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

During my Erasmus+ project in Cyprus, focused on crime prevention, I had an incredible experience. Each day was filled with activities where we learned through non-formal education. I met many unique and wonderful people, which helped me build my confidence and improve my English.
Cyprus is a beautiful destination, and I really enjoyed my time here. However, I regret that I couldn't participate in all the activities because if health issues. This was my first Erasmus experience, and it was truly special and unique. I would highly recommend it to everyone!
Nina
This was my first time participating in Erasmus also first time learning about program focused on crime prevention. Collaborating with all the groups showed us the importance of education, awareness, and social support in reducing crime rates.
I had really great time, the knowledge i have gained will be presented by myself to the young youth in Macedonia.

This E+ project was the best one I’ve ever been. The activities were very unique and we had a lot of fun. My knowledge about crime prevention leveled up, the workshops and activities that we had really helped me and also i learnt a lot of things about the criminals in more countries. There were a lot of new games/energizers/workshops that i learnt and i enjoyed them. I learned that involving youth in the conversation about crime prevention is crucial. I’m grateful for the opportunity and i will share my experience to the participants in our ngo, i’ve met nice and very good people. I will miss all the participants and Kyriacos of course. :))

Participating in the Erasmus+ project on youth crime prevention in Paralimni, Cyprus, was challenging for me firstly because cause it was my first experience as a team leader. I arrived feeling excited yet nervous about leading an team, knowing it would be a test of me and my communication skills. As a leader, I learned the importance of creating an atmosphere where team members felt heard and open to sharing perspectives from their own days. This experience taught me so much first about myself and my abilities. The project itself was very interactive and it was yet so far my best project. Youth crime is not talked as it should be and i’ll make sure that we as a team pass the message we learned here to all the members of our organization. I have met amazing people and made life time lasting friendships. Kyriacos was always trying his best and was always here for me and my team if we had any questions or issues. The project really exceeded my expectations and i loved it. From the APV to the last day i enjoyed every minute and i’m glad that i was part of this amazing project and that i spent my week with amazing people.

Our Erasmus+ youth exchange focused on understanding crime, its different types, and how we can prevent it. Together, we explored what crime is and discussed various types, like cybercrime, theft, and violence. Through workshops and group activities, we gained a better understanding of why crime happens and how it impacts people and communities.
We also learned about strategies to prevent crime, from promoting safety in our communities to encouraging positive behaviors. By working as a team, we shared ideas and solutions, empowering each other to make a difference. This experience gave us valuable tools to help prevent crime and spread awareness back in our own communities.
I absolutely loved being part of this Erasmus+ youth exchange! It was an eye-opening experience that completely changed how I see crime prevention. Before, I hadn’t realized how much we can actually do to reduce crime in our communities. Now, I feel empowered with knowledge and strategies that I can share with others. The exchange gave me a new perspective on how important it is to promote safety and make positive choices, and I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned to help create a safer environment for everyone.
The team I worked with on this project was fantastic! Everyone was open, supportive, and brought unique ideas to the table. We all learned so much from each other, and their enthusiasm made the experience even more meaningful. Working together as a team really showed me the power of collaboration in tackling important issues like crime prevention.
Thank you,

My journey started on the 23th of october, when we left early in the morning for the airport in
Bucharest. It was my first time flying so that was the first exciting thing out of many others that were to
come.
We arrived pretty early so we had to ask around about how to get a bus, and then go to Larnaca which i
liked very much.
And then we finally got to Paralimni where we stayed until today, on the 30th.
In the second day we got right at work, with name games and presentations.
In the third day we had a mixed group activity which i liked better because i got to work with people
that have different perspectives than me or the people from my country. We also had intercultural
nights where all the countries presented their culture in a creative way.
The next day we talked about statistics and ways of prevention of crimes in our countries and i learned
many new things about other countries.
The next day, Oskars asked us to create a game and people started to get very creative with it.also we
worked on the campaign.
The day of the campaign came and we went to ayia Napa to talk to people about prevention of crimes,
and then we had the rest of the day free which i liked. The last day, Aka today, is very sad because we
leave pretty early, and we have to do all the activities early so we could participate.
Overall, this experience was one of the best in my life, i learned many new things and the topic it had is
a very important one.

This Erasmus+ youth exchange program on youth crime prevention was an insightful
experience. Throughout the program, we delved into a range of critical issues, including
graffiti, squatting (ocupas), racial discrimination, and bullying, among others. Each
participant presented crime-related issues from their own countries, providing a rich,
comparative perspective on different forms of youth crime and sharing diverse strategies for
prevention. This cross-cultural exchange allowed us to see the commonalities in challenges
we face, while also appreciating the unique approaches used in various regions to address
these issues.
The preparatory visit was especially effective. The planning was efficient, fast, and
purposeful, with everyone focused on making the most of our limited time. I felt that my skills
in time management and communication improved significantly, as I was challenged to stay
organized and convey my ideas concisely. The excellent accommodation and meals also
created a comfortable environment for us to focus on the exchange's goals.
The project itself was well-structured and interactive, which made the learning process
engaging and impactful. I particularly appreciated the new methods of learning and
energizers introduced during activities, which added to our interactions. This exchange not
only deepened my understanding of youth crime prevention but also enriched my toolkit for
working collaboratively in an international context.

The experience of an exchange in Cyprus on crime prevention has been extremely enriching and transformative. Being in a multicultural environment, sharing ideas with people from different countries, has allowed for a deep understanding of the diverse perspectives and challenges each nation faces regarding crime and its solutions.
During the exchange, we focused on topics such as restorative justice, rehabilitation, and education as tools to prevent crime. Hearing how other countries implement prevention policies was inspiring, as each has methods adapted to its context and culture. In addition, we had the opportunity to participate in workshops and discussions that allowed us to work as a team, resolve conflicts, and propose innovative solutions.
International collaboration was key in this experience. We all share a common goal: reducing the incidence of crime through preventive methods. In the end, we managed to create a network of contacts and generate ideas applicable in our own countries. This exchange not only reinforced the importance of crime prevention, but also the need for global cooperation to face common problems.

The Erasmus Plus exchange on youth crime has been a revealing and transformative
experience. By living with young people from different European countries, we shared our
realities and perspectives, enriching our understanding of such a complex issue. The
intercultural nights provided a space to celebrate our differences and find common ground,
fostering an atmosphere of respect and friendship.
Through debates and activities, reflections emerged on the causes of these crimes and how
each society addresses this issue. The most valuable aspect of this experience has been
learning that, although circumstances may vary, the youth of Europe share similar concerns
and a genuine desire to build a safer, more positive future. This exchange has not only
broadened our horizons but has also united us in a common purpose: social change and
improvement.
To sum up, It will be useful to work with youngster in my job.

During my Erasmus experience, I had the opportunity to explore crimes and crime prevention strategies employed across different cultures. Also we have been searching for crime rates and percentage for our own countries.
I learned about the role of education in prevention efforts. Workshops aimed at raising awareness about personal safety and community vigilance were crucial in empowering residents.
Moreover, I was struck by the innovative use of technology, such as crime mapping in some games that the teams have made.
Cultural nights and the free day were kind of my favorite, all the food and the dances we have played were amazing.
Overall, this experience highlighted that crime prevention is a multifaceted issue requiring, education, and proactive community involvement.

Reflecting on my Erasmus experience in Paralimni, Cyprus, I gained a deeper understanding of youth crime in various countries, including my own, by preparing presentation, North Macedonia, Serbia, Romania, Latvia, Spain, and Cyprus. Initially, after the name games, I didn’t feel comfortable calling everyone by name, but as the days went on, this changed. Through presentations, I learned about the different types and rates of youth crimes in each country. Latvia's presentation, in particular, stood out to me; given how close we are geographically, I was surprised by the differences in crime trends. Hearing about issues like school shootings and bullying firsthand, especially from others outside of the project: during the campaign in Aya Napa , was quite eye-opening. Moreover, the campaign we have to create and execute helped to be braver to talk to strangers, made me more confident in my english language knowledge. Also, it shown me how much I know about youth crimes now. Overall, this experience helped me appreciate the diverse challenges youth face across Europe and strengthened my understanding of youth crime in an international context. I will remember this experience while dealing with young people physically or online.

Today, I reflect on my experience with the Erasmus+ project focused on crime prevention among youth. This initiative has opened my eyes to all the factors contributing to youth crime and the importance of proactive measures.
Throughout the project, I participated in workshops and discussions with peers from different countries. Hearing diverse perspectives helped me understand how cultural contexts influence crime and prevention strategies. We shared successful initiatives from our communities, emphasizing education, mentorship. It was inspiring to see how passionate individuals can come together to create positive change.I feel motivated to continue advocating for programs that support and uplift young people.
I am grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow with my peers, and I am excited to apply what I've learned in my community.

Youth Exchange.Personaly at first moment I was thinking it was little too much activities in the same time, too
intense days with activities, because I was worrieed aboout my participants if they can handle so
intense program. Myself I know it activities at first moment will be intense. I told my participants
too, it will be like that at first moment. Days passed and participants get use to it, they understand
the full process of Erasmus+ youth project.
Personally during project time, I learned quite a lot new information, because this usally isn’t my
tipical topic what I use when I work with youngsters. I really enjoy it to look how well is going
group dinamic and everything supports each others, because for me personally I was most worried
about safe space for my participants.
There was a lot of interesting activities what each partner created together, created activities gave
the impact for the project, for the participants.
Most interesting activity for me was the campaign in Ayia Napa, because I have done it similar
things before, but the result always is totally different because a lot depends from involved people.
I personally like team leader would suggest to do this activity in mixed groups, because there could
had been more interesting progress, impact about project topic.
I little bit missed more the name games, because we had games, but I myself had hard time to learn
participant names, project has kind of ended and I still don’t know all participant names.

This was my first Erasmus experience, and I’m very excited about it. The project
included many different aspects of activities, that unite people. About group uniting –
that was great to work both with national team (because we know each other very
well, and one of the reasons, why I was participating in this project, is to have one
more shared adventure together). As well as, in mixed teams you are “forced” to
adapt for new environment. I can do this very well, so I made a lot of new friends.
I’ve saved the contacts of some people, so hopefully we are going to meet again
someday. Also, I’m very excited about intercultural evenings. It was great to see the
differences and similarities of different cultures. Talking about the final products, I
was responsible for a photo album. At the beginning it looked easy, but I messed up
with uploading photos in time. Also, the campaign was a great experience – we
made fliers and handed out for people in the town. This was the first time, when I
tried to “sell” something in the street, and I’m satisfied with the result. People were
very responsively, and we accomplished our mission very fast. The lectures about
crimes also was exciting – I found out the many different ways in classification of
them there are

Being my first time in an Erasmus+
project, I can say that I can't wait to participate
in other projects like this one. I met some
wonderful people, with different personalities
and cultures who made this project feel like
home.
Besides the activities we had that helped
us understand how we can prevent juvenile
delinquency, we managed to learn many things
about the cultures of our countries.
I think that this project helped me a lot to
develop, to be more sociable and of course, to
do everything I can to stop youth crime. I can't
wait to participate in more projects of this kind
and I hope to have the opportunity to meet
again the wonderful people I met here.

Reflecting on my Erasmus+ week in Cyprus on youth crime prevention, I gained invaluable insights and experiences that broadened my understanding of crime prevention across different cultures. One of the key takeaways was learning about the “ocupas” in Spain – a unique social issue involving individuals who occupy vacant properties. I found it fascinating to see how this phenomenon influences communities and how Spanish society addresses it. Another impactful topic was bullying in Serbia. Discussing its prevalence and exploring effective prevention strategies showed me the universal challenges youth face and the critical role of education and community support in combatting bullying. It was inspiring to learn how Serbia is working to create safer spaces for young people. One memorable part of the week was visiting Ayia Napa, where I had the chance to promote our project to locals and tourists. Engaging with strangers and explaining our mission helped spread awareness and reinforced the importance of our work. Finally, I created a photo album to document the week’s highlights, which captures the essence of our experiences and serves as a visual reminder of the friendships, learning moments, and shared purpose that made this project unforgettable.

My time in Paralimni, Cyprus, has been amazing! As my first Erasmus project, it exceeded all my expectations. I met incredible people from different countries and formed lasting friendships. The activities we engaged in focused on cultural exchange, and I loved every moment, especially the traditional cooking class where we made halloumi. I’ve grown so much, gaining confidence and a deeper appreciation for different cultures. This experience has truly been transformative, and I will carry these memories with me always. And ill miss the Macedonians and Spanish the most.
I love you all

This project was a bit different from those that I’ve already been to. This project helped me to grow personaly and as a team member and be the better person. The activities were awesome but the only thing that could’ve been better is we had more mixed groups instead of national teams. What surprised me the most is that the hosts were really caring and helped to get through all challenges. The people here were friendly and nice which made the project better. The topic was interesting because every country has it’s own problems in youth crimes and by sharing the ideas we can make it better in our countries.

This project has given much more than I had imagined.
Before I went to Cyprus, there was noticeable anxiety about getting there, because it was my first time flying with airplanes, as well as how I would fit in among strangers and be able to communicate in English with the other project participants.
I went to the project with the aim of improving my communication and cooperation skills, I had never participated in similar events before, so everything that was implemented during these days will remain in my memories forever.
Being involved in all activities related to the learning process and learning the topic, for example, working in groups to create a performance or a deeper analysis of selected crimes in mixed groups helped me to open up more, to become a little more confident in my communication abilities than before the project.
I definitely recommend this type of project to other young people who previously had difficulty speaking English and cooperating in groups with unfamiliar people, because by participating in all the tasks you can get the desired result - learn something new about the topic, find new friends , and also improve your communication and collaboration skills.
In my opinion, the correctly prepared daily plan also helped my health, because I had never experienced so many positive things in one day when I was at home and in my daily work. Balanced diet and sleep have improved my well-being.
I can definitely say that this is not my last Erasmus+ project, because the experience I gained here has changed my previous views on Erasmus+ and I am very happy that I will be able to tell others about my experience here, so that maybe someone who does not feel comfortable among people they do not know can change it.

Those days in Cyprus...
The experience i had in this project about Crime Prevention was a lot more interesting and enjoyable than i expected. Through the perspective of youth work, i come back home with fulfilled batteries and knowledge. So many resources we went through with the help of our facilitators Kyriakos, Inga and Natasa. They were there for us the whole time and the most apreciable is the way they behaved between them as a team and between us the participants. They are the greatest example of working in group, collaboration and friendship communication. I learned about myself, about other people and we discussed several important facts about crime in our countries. People from different cultures, we managed to create something together and thats a big thing between all the chaos and hate that some parts of the world are experiencing. Thank you Neci, thank you all
Karolina
This project was like no other. I enjoyed the activities, and I positively rate my learning outcomes, despite some tension between my national team. I feel like as a project group we did an amazing job of establishing cooperation among ourselves, therefore, I particularly enjoyed the work we did in mixed groups. We also established rules that aided us in maintaining respect for each other’s time, work efficiency, and overall pleasant rather than chaotic coexistence. The project provided sufficient information on different types of crimes and invited for further related discussions that I found particularly interesting, especially regarding prostitution and drugs as my group focused on these two types for our presentation. The personal stories concerning crimes discussed were especially engaging to hear and share. The cultural evenings were an evening delight. I was eager to learn more about other countries and I do feel like I will be leaving Cyprus with knowledge about other countries too! The campaign we did in Ayia Napa was super fun, I was surprised at how friendly the locals were which positively affected our whole experience and made our objectives feasible and successful. Overall, my experience was positive despite some obstacles along the way. I appreciate all the help and assistance to make our experience as full-filing and meaningful as possible. Thank you!

The first thoughts were already, after the long way to Cyprus.
Although fatigue was noticeable, upon arrival I was overcome with pleasant excitement, because this was my first project.I liked the location of the project from the very beginning and the environment was suitable for learning and having a good time.
Already on the first day, I gradually climbed over my language barrier.
Each activity allowed me to get to know other young people more and to provide knowledge that I did not have until now.
I think this project has taught me to work in groups and communicate more with others.Although in the project all the activities happened one after the other, which in turn tired me out quickly.I think that this helped me adapt to a new environment faster.I liked the work of the leader of my team the best, who was able to gather us and inspire us to do everything as well as we can.It was the support from the leader that was very useful for me in several tasks, especially those where we had to work together as a national team. The program was very well designed, so that you could learn as much as possible about the specific topic, so I think the organizers organized the project very well. Thanks to the project for: Beautiful views of nature, new friends, better communication in English, useful time and fantastic company.
I definitely want to return to this type of projects in the future.
Thanks for everything!

On the 23rd, I arrived in Larnaca, and although I was tired, I couldn’t help but enjoy the cultural diversity
here. After some time in Larnaca waiting for the bus, I arrived at our accommodation and met a few of
the other participants. I felt genuinely happy to encounter such cultural diversity.
The next day, after some icebreakers, I got to know several participants better and even managed to
remember some names (haha). We were introduced to the opportunities offered through Erasmus
programs, which answered some of my questions while raising others that I look forward to exploring
through future Erasmus+ experiences.
Friday, October 25, was one of the most interesting days. We had in-depth discussions on the topic, and
I was especially eager to learn more theoretical aspects of crime. My favorite activity was working in
mixed teams to discuss different types of crime, with each group presenting their findings. The following
day, we presented statistical data on crime in each participating country. We also discussed crime
prevention strategies, which was insightful as I learned different methods from each country’s
perspective and experience.
On the 27th, we had a free day, which gave us a chance to explore the local area and connect better
with each other. On the 28th, guided by one of the leaders, we created scenarios focused on preventing
juvenile delinquency. I was impressed by the participants’ creativity and excited to see such inventive
approaches to tackling this issue. Later that day, we began working on the public campaign we were to
promote the next day.
On the 29th, we put into practice everything we had learned. We engaged with locals and tourists,
explaining the project’s purpose, and what thrilled me most was gaining additional insights from these
interactions.
On the 30th, we gathered to share our thoughts and reflections on everything we had experienced over
the past days. Each of us contributed insights, adding personal highlights and even funny stories. We
discussed the aspects we enjoyed most, exchanged perspectives on the activities, and reflected on the
lessons learned. This final discussion allowed us to celebrate our collective journey, reinforcing the
friendships we had formed and the knowledge we had gained.

For me this experience was unique and very useful. Each day represented a new challenge, a new life
lesson, a new learning.
During these days we took part in many interactive activities that.
On the first day we got to know each other and about these 8 key competences. Then in the next day we
got into the topic of the project, realizing that we are all here to bring a change, to learn from scratch
what a crime is, how we can prevent crime and how we can pass this message.
The third day helped us to know our cultures better and to be able to make a change in society. It was
eye-opening to hear personal stories that highlighted these challenges.
Monday’s activity thaugt us to put all our ideas together to make an activity to prevent crimes.
The campaign activity was very interesting for me because i found out that there are other people
interested in crime prevention.
This Erasmus project helped me to get more involved in the prevention of crime among young people.
As I reflect on this experience, I’m grateful for the friendships I've formed and the lessons learned. I feel
more empowered to advocate for my community. This project has reinforced my belief in the
importance of collaboration and dialogue in addressing social issues.

Reflecting on the youth crime prevention project, I gained valuable insights into the importance of community support and proactive engagement. Through discussions with young people , it became clear that building trust and providing mentorship are vital in steering youth away from crime. I have mate amazing people from different countries and backgrounds and we all shared problems affecting our countries ans learned from each other.

he YOUTH EXCHANGE aimed at prevention on crimes . We learned about crimes in each country with some examples and numbers . I would prefer to focus a bit more on the restructure of educational system as the most effective prevention method.
It was exciting to play the mission is possible as we had the chance to bond with the participants .
My favourite day was the trip to Ayia Napa where we did our campaign and informed locals and foreigners about our project .
Apart from that we met a lot of interesting people from different countries and had the chance to discuss, share ideas and make friendships.
